Clubs !!
Some of the regulars at Earlswood lakes!
Dog training doesn’t stop when the sessions end - and that’s where the clubs come in! These are fun, relaxed group meet-ups that mix social time for dogs and owners with a bit of structured training to keep those skills sharp.
Right now, I run a walking club, where past clients (and friendly new faces!) can join group walks, practise their training around real-life distractions, and enjoy some fresh air alongside like-minded dog lovers. It’s a great way to build confidence, boost your bond, and keep things ticking without the pressure of a formal group sessions.
In future, I’ll be adding more clubs like canicross, crafty enrichment clubs for those of us less sporty and other dog-friendly activities - all with the same focus of fun, connection, and learning in a supportive, friendly environment.
Take a look below to see what’s running now - and if you’ve got am idea for a club you’d love to see, let me know!
Walk and Talk club
Get your boots on and your dog on a lead - it’s time for some fresh air, fun, and good company! The walk and talk club is all about helping dogs and owners get out of the house, practise their training skills in a relaxed, real-world setting, and meet other like-minded dog lovers.
During our walks, you’ll have the chance to share tips, swap stories, ad learn from each other while your dog enjoys socialising and working around everyday distractions.. It’s training, support, and social time rolled into one easy, enjoyable session.
Whether you are building confidence, working on recall or just fancy a friendly stroll with your pup, walk and talk is a great way to keep your training on track and have some fun too!
If you are interested, get in touch and I’ll be happy to explain the process more!

Clubs FAQ’s
-
To join the club walks, just get in touch to arrange a quick initial meet session - it’s a chance for me to get to know you and your dog before we head out together. After that, I’ll add you to the club WhatsApp group where I post upcoming walks. You can simply react to let me know you’re coming - nice and easy!
If your plans change last minute, no problem at all - I just ask that you let me know so I’m not waiting around for anyone who can’t make it.
-
Once you’ve decided the clubs for you, you’ll be added to a WhatsApp group where I post all the walk details - including location, time, and anything else you might need to know. I also pop updates on Facebook, so you can keep an eye on there too!
-
Absolutely! Before joining, I do ask everyone to book a quick initial meet session so I can get to know you and your dog first. After that, you’re welcome to come along to a group walk and see how it feels - there’s no pressure to stick with it if it’s not the right fit.
If you decide it’s not for you, just let me know - that way I won’t keep sending you updates in the group (as fun as my dog photos are!)
-
Just bring yourself, your dog, and a pocket full of treats - watch out for the wet noses of other curious dogs though! I recommend wearing weather appropriate clothing as we go on both paths and fields. I’ve got everything else covered!
One little rule: please leave toys at home. As much as some dogs love to share, others…not so much - and I’d rather avoid any tug-of-war dramas!
-
Yes - many of the dogs who join my walks are working on confidence, calmness, or reactivity, so you won’t be alone. The walks are designed to be relaxed, spaced out, and pressure-free, with no expectations for dogs to interact unless they are ready.
Every dog and owner has a first meet session with me, so even if someone’s dog is a bit more enthusiastic (you know the type - tongue hanging out, legs flying!), they’ll have commands to give your dog the space they need. We’re a mixed bunch, but it’s a respectful group where everyone looks out for each other - tail wags and all!
-
We’re a pretty hardy bunch, so walks will go ahead in a bit of a drizzle or mud - it’s all part of the fun! That said, I will cancel if it’s unsafe or unfair on the dogs, like during a thunderstorm, extreme heat, or heavy snow.
If a walk ever needs to be cancelled, I’ll let you know in the WhatsApp group with as much notice as possible - and we’ll reschedule or just try again next time!
-
Any updates, cancellations, or changes (like a new location or bad weather call-off) will be posted in the club WhatsApp group - so be sure to check in before heading out!
If you’re ever unsure or haven’t seen a message, don’t be afraid to pop me a quick message - I’m always happy to help!
